quick business question

I am a psychology major and entering my second year at USC. I decided that I want to major in Business Administration. Are there any requirements? I can't seem to find anything online. Also, how difficult is it to change my major into business?

There are certain courses that you have to complete in order to apply for transfer admission.

"Transfer candidates complete the following courses for Marshall School of Business admission consideration:

WRIT 130/140 (English Composition 2, also a University requirement)
ECON 203 (Microeconomics)
ECON 205 (Macroeconomics)
MATH 118 or MATH 125 (Business Calculus)
Students who successfully complete these courses with 'B's' or better will be competitive for admission."

I'm also going to be a second year and am going to apply for the business administration major once I finish the prerequisite courses (or at least enough prerequisite courses to apply). Do any current Marshall undergraduates have any general insight/advice about what to expect as a BUAD major? I had some BUAD majors on my floor last year, but I didn't get much out of them in terms of what to expect or what it was like.

Oh, and for the original poster, the website (assuming you're not a transfer, but that you attended USC last year) is:
<a href="http://www.marshall.usc.edu/web/Undergraduate.cfm?doc_id=3444%5B/url%5D">http://www.marshall.usc.edu/web/Undergraduate.cfm?doc_id=3444</a></p>

It's pretty much the same thing as cc411 linked, but for internal major applicants (as opposed to transfers). However, I guess I'm not absolutely certain whether you're an incoming transfer to USC or attended USC last year, so use either link (the one cc411 provided (transfers) or the one I provided (continuing USC student) based on your circumstance. Also on the link I provided, there's an application form (for continuing USC students). I would just read through the page to get an idea of what MSB is generally expecting and what you need to submit for application into the major. Good luck in getting in! I hope I get in as well!

It says "WRITING 140 or 130
MATH 118 or 125
ECON 203 or ECON 205"

I've completed Writing 140, Math 125, and I am taking Econ 203 this semester. Does that mean after this semester, I can apply for the program? Sorry for sounding so stupid. I'm just afraid there might be more stuff I should be doing in addition to the pre-reqs.

Yes, I believe that's all that is needed to apply. You still need to eventually take the other ECON course (in your case, ECON 205), but only one of those ECON courses is required in order to apply. If you complete the prerequisites with "B's" or better and maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.0, then you should be "competitive for admission." If you have any additional questions, e-mail Marshall's Office of Undergraduate Admissions at busadm@marshall.usc.edu

The office usually replies back on the same day. Good luck to you! I still have Math 118 to take, and I'm kind of nervous about that because I'm not really a strong math person.
