quick calculator question 2c

can we use more than one calculator on math 2c? i want to use both the 89 and 84.

I don’t think so. I know you can have a back up one in case your first breaks, but I think you can only use it if that happens, otherwise I think no (of course you could just get around those rules by using the 84 on the questions you want it on, saying it broke, and then using the 89, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Too much of a hassle, and, technically, cheating, because I suppose two aren’t allowed for a reason). Just curious though, why would you want to? Doesn’t the 89 do everything and 84 does, plus some?

Yes you can.

lilyrobin is right.

You can only use ur backup calculator if your first one breaks. You are not allowed to switch back and forth between them.

im still more familiar with the 84, but i like the 89’s features. i guess ill just use the 84 then.

I’ve seen people use two at a time…

I have also seen people texting during breaks and seen people going back to previous sections. It still doesn’t mean that it is allowed.

Honestly, I think an 84 will do just fine. The questions aren’t of the type that you need a calculator to do anything other than simple calculations. If you know the material, an 800 should come easily.
