Quick Chance for UCSD/UCI please!

<p>Incoming Senior/Asian Male of Chinese Descent/First Gen/Lives in California</p>

<p>My school is a fairly competitive public school(99% graduation rate, 95% move on to 4 year college, sends many students to higher end colleges)
UC GPA: 3.96/4.0
Sophomore year 3 honors courses
Junior Year 4 AP's:
AP Lang&Comp A/A
AP Chemistry B/A
AP Calculus AB B/A
AP US History A/A
AP scores: Confident that I got all 4's.. /knockonwood</p>

<p>SAT:
CR:680
Math:720
Writing:670
Total:2070 (retaking October and aiming for 2150+)
SATII:
Math Level 2:800
Chem:680....considering a retake</p>

<p>Senior Year I'll be taking 3 AP's and an Honors course</p>

<p>EC's: Nothing spectacular
4 years Band. 2 years as section leader
2 years ECGA
3 years community service club (where we go to a local elementary school and teach children) and treasurer
100 hours of volunteer at a Youth Science Center
12 years piano. Completed the Certificate of Merit Program</p>

<p>You should probably retake Chemistry.</p>

<p>If you’re ELC, you should practically have an 100% chance for UCI. UCSD is harder to get into, but I think you can still get in. It’s not nearly as competitive as UCB or UCLA yet.</p>

<p>Cal Poly is actually pretty selective. Your scores and GPA look good enough, but if you apply for a capped major, who knows what would happen.</p>
