Quick Chance Me Thread

In at SDSU, CSU Long Beach. San Marcos, UCSD, and UCLA are probably match schools, maybe UCLA on the tougher end of it. I’d consider trying to push up your SAT 1s a touch if you could. They’re strong, but something up just a little bit more will definitely help your chances. And remember, California schools get such a huge volume of applications, that scores that are high and stand out definitely help in distinguishing you from other applicants. I would say that UCB, Cal Poly SLO, and USC are really the reaches here, while not impossible at all. I’d say you definitely have a shot at these schools, especially with a strong class ranking, gpa, and good scores. Your ECs seem a bit sparing, are you simply restricting your activities for the sake of conciseness, or is that really all you do? Don’t take anything I say to heart, it’s just my opinion. What do I know, really.
