Hello! I'm looking at colleges and trying to place myself to see where I stand and if there's anything I can do to improve chances if I'm low. I'm doing all of this off the top of my head, so I may miss some key stuff. Anyway! Here goes.

BTW I'm a Junior.

-ACADEMICS-

Grades: All A's (UW GPA: 4.00)
Weighted GPA: 4.52
Class Rank: 5 of 790 (Very competitive)

AP Classes Taken:
AP Biology
AP Chemistry
AP English Language and Composition
AP Spanish Language

And we have already done practice AP tests...I anticipate 5's in all of these, but I'm not going to be full of myself and say they're guaranteed XD

AP Classes To Be Taken Senior Year:
AP Physics C
AP Calculus BC
AP English Literature
AP Spanish Literature
AP Government

I want to do AP Comparative Government insteafd of AP English Lit. But then I would have to take 2 non-weighted English classes. Is this a bad idea? I do want to be a Science Major, after all...

-TESTS-

ACT: 35 w/o Writing (Should I do w/ Writing?)
SAT: 2350
Math: 800
Writing: 800
Reading: 750

AP's: I will study and hopefully get all 5's! Even though Physics is killer!

-EXTRACURICULARS-

I am a drum major in band and I devote a TON of service
Plan to be Pres/Vice-Pres of Math Guild next Year
I'm going to start a Chemistry Club Next Year. Ideas already underway with my teacher
Running for office in NHS next year
Chemistry Olympiad participant...we'll see how we do
High scores on National/State math tests
Regional Band participant. Like I said, band is HUGE and important to me. It is my main EC and I devote tons of time to it.

-RESEARCH/JOBS-

I'm applying for a biotech research internship over the summer. Regardless, I will get some sort of job/volunteer work over this summer.

I think that's a good gist...if I need more, please tell me. The schools I want to go to are as follows:

UC Berkeley
UC Davis
Massachusetts Institute of Technology
CalTech
Stanford
Princeton
Virginia Tech

And basically anywhere else I research that has a strong chemical engineering background.

I want to be a Chemical Engineer and have a STRONG love for Chemistry and math (More toward chemistry though, and yes, I realize a Chem Engineer is not a chemist). My recommendation letters will be amazing. I have already gotten some for my internship over the summer from my AP English teacher and my AP Chemistry teacher, and I anticipate some even better ones from my band director in the future.

Once again, sorry if I'm missing something crucial. Thank you for your help :]
