Quick Classes Question- please help a brother out

Hey, so I took a bunch of classes but I realized that most colleges dont weigh them into calculating GPA. What was the point of me taking so many classes like Computer science class, Art class, music class, if colleges dont even look at them.

Some colleges expect you to have these classes on your transcript, even if they aren’t weighted into your GPA. The UCs, for example, include a year of arts in their “A-G” requirement. Most high schools require them (usually as state-mandated curricula), furthermore. Finally, how would you know what you are and are not interested in pursuing further if you aren’t exposed to a subject, albeit casually. Many, if not most, colleges also have breadth requirements, and you will have to take some arts and humanities classes even if you are majoring in a science.
