I once believed in the “If you had a choice…” thread.
Sure, very steriotypical and innacurate, but the thread
elicited immediate responses to people who were curious
over a holistic feel for which college was respected
more. It eliminated a lot of problems I noticed that many
posters (such as myself) had when we tried posting
comparison threads and not having any responses.

NOW…i’m loooking to REVIVE the thread…

and…

IMPROVE it’s structure . In true homage of the origional
poster, i’m looking to revive the thread in the appropriate
forum it should be on (unlike the backwaters of the cafe).

If this thread fails, then meh, we’ll continue to see more
shallow, spammy comparison threads (from me too).

-------rule changes--------

Has to be college related, but not necessarily the college itself
(ex: Financial aid in Columbia vs. UPENN,)
(ex2: Night life in Texas-Austin and Wisconsin)

After someone posts their answer, they should have
an understandably comprehensive answer as to why they
made the selection (even if it’s for the brutally honest "I don’t
know/I heard it on this forum; I just want to ask my question).

So…

lets have fun :)

…It’s a new application season!
