<p>You have a chance to elaborate on some of your extracurriculars within the essays. For example, the CommonApp asks for your objectives. You can say something like…by volunteering at the public county hospital in my city, I learned to appreciate life and to use innovative techniques to better the underprivileged…these skills would allow me to put them into practice within Harvard’s own Medical Students Society…etc .etc</p>
<p>For supplementals like a research paper, check the college website or give them a call. You might check out the fr admission section to see what kind of guidelines they give as transfer sections tend to be less detailed.</p>
<p>The Additional Info section can be used to elaborate on ECs or anything else you want them to know.</p>
