Quick Common App Question

<p>on the common app it says that u can either type (or i guess copy/paste) the Why NU essay into the field box or upload a document. the field has a character limit of 1000, but mine is a bit longer than that so i uploaded the document from word. it uploaded fine, but is it okay that my essay is a bit over 1000 char?</p>

<p>Some other poster (can't remember name) asked admissions about this and they said that you can upload something greater than 1000 characters.</p>
