quick Computer Science question

What is the difference between majoring in Comp. Sci. with a B.A. degree or with a B.S.E. degree? If I choose the B.A. degree, could/should I still submit my essay for the engineering essay prompt?

There are different graduation and independent work requirements for BA and BSE degrees. Consult the Undergraduate Announcement, the Computer Science Dept. website, or Google for more details.

Here is the COS Departmental Representative’s “Guide for the Humble Undergraduate”:

It really doesn’t matter which one you pick, especially this early on. It’s very easy to switch back and forth between them if you decide that you’d prefer to fulfill the A.B. or B.S.E. requirements.
