<p>Hi, I'm going to be a freshman this fall (well, in 7 days!) and was wondering if thumbtacks are allowed for hanging decorations? Or is that considered "permanent damage"? I just wasn't clear if they're allowed or not. Thank you!</p>
<p>Students cannot use thumbtacks or push pins in the walls. </p>
<p>What most students use are command strips or sticky tack to hang items in their room.</p>
