quick EASY Question!!!!

<p>is this grammatically correct?</p>

<p>The ratty grey ones, though, were the shoes placed in front of me; they mocked me, knowing that the white shoes were only for school, knowing that the customers would notice the split aglets and worn area where my left toe was about to protrude.</p>

<p>I think the semi colon should be a period. You should probably re-write the entire sentence, there are too many pauses.</p>
