Quick EC Question!

<p>Hi, I have a quick question regarding ECs!</p>

<p>I was recently selected to intern as a page in the General Assembly of my home state (got my letter in the mail yesterday). I will be working in the Senate and the House for two weeks assisting members with their schedules, answering phones, greeting visitors, delivering papers to other representatives, etc. However, all of this will take place in January and April of 2015. Can I still add it as and EC even thought it won't be happening until after my applications have been sent, or should I leave it out? Is their any other way I can make my selection known, particularly on the Common App, other than in my extracurricular activities section? Could I put that I was selected in the Honors section? Thanks in advance!</p>

<p>Yes! Include it on the CA but note parenthetically that you have been selected and note the start date.</p>

<p>Great, thanks! So, just to clarify, I can include it in the activities section of the Common App, and put the projected hours, as long as I note that it will be in the future?</p>
