Tell us more about yourself by providing information not addressed anywhere else on this application. In an essay of about 300 words, describe your passion and special interests. In your opinion, what makes you unique?

In high school, there are many students who seem average and ordinary. However, I strongly believe that all of them have their own passion and special interest in them that makes them stand out of everyone else. This passion distinguishes their individualities. In my case, my passion is to share my cheerfulness with other people. I love to bring people up when they are down or help people in their difficult situations. Many of my friends tell me I am emotionally contagious – always affecting other people with my emotions. Yet, rather than letting my sadness get the better of me and others, I always think on the brighter side of the circumstances.
One way I share my optimism with people is praising and worshipping by creating music. For example, at church, I play a role in my praise team. This activity has been a crucial commitment in my life because it allowed me to do what I love. Every time I step up on the stage to sing avidly about my religion, I see all the joy and smiles I bring among my church members, especially the children. Because all the genuine happiness moves my heart, I immediately became addicted to bringing bliss among people. Being in the praise team has made me realize that I become happy when others do as well. Evidently, happiness really is contagious.
Passion is what makes lives thrilling. It is something that makes a person ask him or herself, what more can I ask for? Throughout my life, I have asked the same thing whenever I consulted with someone about a problem he or she had to deal with or whenever I helped a person smile. What makes me unique is that I bring delight to many people and I will continue to do so until I see a smile on the faces of everybody in the world.
