Quick Essay Question

I'm applying to Harvard REA and uploading my finished essays. I've written two essays (one for Common App and one for supplement).

Essay A is about the personal/local/national/international issue and is 737 words; it's the essay that I prefer.
Essay Essay B is what matters to me/why and is 555 words; I like it but not as much as I like Essay A.

Should I put Essay B as the Common App essay and Essay A as the supplementary essay? Will admissions just look at the Common App essay first and then maybe glance at the supplementary essay?

Help, basically.

Essay A is almost two pages double-spaced. Essay B is one and a half pages double-spaced. Is the word count difference negligible?
