Quick FAFSA question

Hey i completely missed the Feb 1st deadlinw for FAFSA..which is kinda bad. I submitted it today...sooo does this mean i don't get aid????

this is bad

Yeah, I'm also concerned. My parents just got last year's statements/whatever yesterday and I was off in Key West at an academic competition, just got back home 2 hrs ago. Will submitting it today be detrimental to the aid I receive?

You CAN be penalized for submitting it past the priority deadline, but for a school like Harvard - submitting it a day late should not overly be detrimental to your chances for top aid. Still, if you had submitted by the deadline date - your priority for aid would absolutely be locked in.

RELAX!
I called the financial decisions office and they said they don't mind at all. She said the actual deadline for the FAFSA was 3/1 even though the Harvard site recommended 2/1.

What the hell??!!

I had to freakin' rush to fill out the FAFSA and PROFILE using W2 forms I had gotten on January 30th, and now they say it's March 1st?!!

Whatever, now all that's left is IDOC.

well 2/1 is for priority, which means you get advantage. i think submitting it by 3/1 would just give you leftovers.

haha, leftovers from Harvard's Financial Aid office? I wouldn't mind.
