Quick FAFSA/Tax question~

I'm 17 years old, I worked a job in 2010 for a few months .. rarely made any money. I made only 567$. I don't work there anymore.
Do I have to file taxes? .. I mean, I already filled out the information for my mother and she "will file" her taxes. So her part is done, but when it comes to my part .. I didn't make much. And I don't know my information for "income tax".

Thanks a lot. n___n.

Also, My mother is widowed .. my father died, and I recieved some money over the months. "Social Security Benefit statement", and I have the amount for my Benefits for 2010..
Do I put the amount under "Untaxed Income"? .. I believe it is not taxed.
here's a screenshot.

If it was all earned income from a job (ie - you worked for someone, not self employed) then you are below the threshold so should not have to file. Did you get a W2? You should have received one by now. If any taxes were deducted you should file to get them refunded to you.

I received a W-2 and it says my Net Earn = 567$ … and I can’t find anything about taxes taken out.
So I shouldn’t have to file them right? .__.
Thank you so much by the way, I really appreciate it.

If it does not say on the W2 that they deducted taxes, then they presumably did not deduct any. There are boxes that refer to taxes - are they all empty?

The social security you received does not have to be reported as untaxed income. It is specifically mentioned as not having to be reported.
