<p>when you apply you will fillout a pre-financial aid package for an estimate of financial aid that will be in the collegeboard site. this is called the CSS profile. after you are admitted you will fill out the fafsa.each plan has financial aid deadlines go to the rice website for more info under prospecitive students.</p>
<p>Don't worry though, you will receive your package with enough time left over to decide (ED or ID).</p>
<p>the only thing you need to do is the CSS profile along with ur application to Rice. everything is done later after your admission.</p>
