quick grammar question

Since its

No one is happer than I (am)

is it grammatically correct to say

He is stronger than she ?

yes because is is implied.

omggg colloquial grammar is KILLING ME. when i first heard "He is smarter than I" I laughed and bubbled in for "I", only to be crying as i checked the answers.

Yea, it helps when you understand the semantic units and/or take any foreign Romance / Germanic language.

I,you,he,she,it,we,you,they = subjects
Me,you,him,her,it,us,you,them = objects

so

I am smarter than she (is smart). (You're comparing two objects)

It sounds so correct to say "I am smarter than her" because normally objects go at the end of sentences.

(I gave it to her)

In this case, to is a preposition, and all prepositions take objects.

Once you understand this, you won't have any trouble

He and I went to the movies. <-correct
Me and him went to the movies <- incorrect (me and him are objects, but objects are not active in the sentence, they do not do any action.)

Between you and me, I think that teacher is nuts. <-correct
Between you and I, I think that teacher is nuts. <-incorrect

"Between" is a preposition, which again, takes objects.
