Quick Internship Question (Accounting)

Hi guys,

I come to you in need of advice. I will be a sophomore this coming fall at a public uni and I am forced to decide about next summer within this next week. I have two options:

Return to my student painting company as a veteran branch manager with possible participate in a mentorship program for rookie managers (I would also help recruit new managers throughout the school year). I would also be able to run my business and be way more successful next summer given the fact that I now know how to run my painting business and won't have to learn it as I go along. Our president will be bringing in a speaker to talk to us about drafting business plans for our own painting businesses as well as help us select goals that could result in lower overrides of my revenue.

Pursue an internship with the accounting firm Ryan and Company in LA. My friend just completed this roughly 10 week internship in LA making $25 an hour and piling up about 10k before taxes, living expenses. He said that he would probably be able to set me up with this for next summer if I want. A 5 day training course is provided and he said that he learned a lot and received an offer of employment extension past his 10 weeks as well as other offers for next summer including england or amsterdam.

I need to decide soon whether or not I will be returning to my painting business. I am worried about passing up a great opportunity with Ryan and Company to get my foot in the door in the accounting business but I also don't want to pass up on the chance to return to my painting business and run a more successful business next year, also showing advancement within a program over 2 years (resume wise).

Which option would you guys recommend me to pursue? I can't believe I have to decide within 5 days (by August 31st)!

If you have any more questions about either internship PLEASE just ask me!
