Quick interview advice?

So my Yale alumni interview is tomorrow morning...this is my first college interview so I'm a little anxious about what to expect. does anyone have some quick do's and dont's or general advice for interviews? it would be much appreciated :]]

Not sure how quick this will be, but check the thread:

Or this:

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/yale-university/804985-alumni-campus-interview-faq.html

“There are some interviewers who will quiz you about random topics, but they are few and far between. Most likely, you’ll have a pleasant conversation without being grilled.”

S2 had his interview last night and that is exactly what happened. S2 described it as a very strange interrogation.

I’m sorry to hear it, UMDAD. Yale sends a handbook to new volunteers and reminds about stuff like this with it quarterly newsletter to interviewers, but it really has no control over what volunteer interviewers do. If the interviewer was truly beyond the pale, I’d let the admissions office know after the decision on your son’s application has been made. You’d be doing future applicants a favor.

I skimmed through those threads last night and the info I picked up helped me a lot with my interview this morning. thank you!
