interesting choices. the first 'group' seems pretty good. you didnt say what your score was without the writing. that is important because most schools dont care for the writing section.

your gpa is really good, especially for ib. with the sat, i doubt the bottom group, but all of the top seem possible.

just curious - you are from oregon, but you are interested in all these really small schools in the mid west. why? used to live there?

Your first grouping of schools looks to be well-chosen. It is possible that you might do well at one of your reach schools with the IB diploma and GPA, and state debate ranking: might as well give it a shot. Best of luck for many options come april.

I say check out Whitman and the Claremonts. Whitman is an incredible school that is well recognized as being very underrated due to its strange location. I have a friend who got into Johns Hopkins with slightly better SAT's. Id say go for all of them.

3.9 UW GPA in IB and a 2040 on the SAT? Highly unlikely, check your UW GPA again. That means you're getting 96 and above in every IB class (which means you're a genius or your school grades easily).
