<p>i need to do THIS on a graphing calculator:</p>

<p>graph a circle with the center at (14,14) and radius = 2.</p>

<p>hint: graph the upper half and then the lower half eq. of a circle</p>

<p>how can i do this in the Y one and Y two parts of my ti - 83 plus..thanks !</p>

<p>the equation for the circle you want is</p>

<p>(x-14)^2 + (y-14)^2 = 4</p>

<p>so on your calculator, you put,</p>

<p>y1 = sqrt(4 - (x-14)^2) + 14
y2 = -sqrt(4 - (x-14)^2) + 14</p>
