Forgive my Spanglish! :D

Do you guys think 450 words is a solid length for the Yale Supplement essay (also to be submitted to Harvard)?

It's pretty definitive about keeping it under 500, but should I strive to get it as close to that limit as possible? Or am I safe?

Thanks!

450 is perfect

Not too much, and definitely not too little.

You're in a great range

Harvard? Le gasp! =o

Perfect. Close enough to the limit to provide sufficient detail, but not so long that the admissions officers won't want to finish reading it.
