Quick Q: BU or UMich?

when applying for grad school, UMich stands out a heck of a lot more than BU. Just putting that out there. Academically speaking, UMich above and beyond surpasses BU.

Good point lovethema, Michigan’s standing in academe is significantly stronger than BU’s.

"TOP 10 CITIES IN THE WORLD

 1. London
 2. New York City
 3. Paris
 4. Tokyo
 5. Dubai
 6. Hong Kong
 7. Shanghai
 8. Mumbai
 9. Moscow
 10. Buenos Aires"

Mumbai!?! You sir, are the one on crack! Did you just run out of cities and couldn’t think of any more or what? I’m not going to be an expert on the subject of great cities, but unless by great we’re talking about dirty and poor, Mumbai does not belong on that list.

Where else, Moscow? Maybe a cool place to visit one day, but I think I’d rather live in Detroit. I prefer the safety of Detroit, I don’t have to worry about getting robbed every day. I also hear Moscow is super expensive (it was at the top of some list of most expensive cities).

^^^Too funny!

Current Mumbai weather:

91 degrees and 74% humidity…lovely.

Unless you guys are discussing the best places to live, I think Mumbai should stay on that list. It is one of the world’s greatest cities.

… for tourists. I certainly don’t want to work there as a foreigner.

"Btw, I’m impressed you know Jardine’s Lookout. "

I lived in a house there for 2 years before moving to the peak. A lot of expats live there so I dont know why you’d be surprised that I know Jardines Lookout.

Obviously, this wasn’t a quick question… :)
