Quick Q... What constitutes a "First Generation College student"

My parents never went to college. My mom doesnt work and my dad owns a deli.

im applying to a school right now and its asking me...

I am a first-generation college student. Yes or No?

here's the thing, it defines it as [Neither parent completed a Bachelor's (4-year college) degree or higher degree.]

BUT

My sister is on her way to get her bach, she is a senior in college.

Do I still put Yes, or now that she is in school, do I put no?

I think it's still yes.

whoa, why are you above me? lol

ok, now that i reread what i wrote i think im going to put Yes, considering the definition they gave still constitutes me as a First Gen

Absolutely no idea! Very strange...must be a glitch.

Whoa! That was odd. I've never seen that before.

You and your sister are both first gen college students.

waht if your parents went to college in another country?
i am not first generation college stduent???

You are a first generation US citizen, but NOT a first generation college student. The college attended by parents is not restricted to the US.
