Quick question about AP credits

I just came back from Orientation Session 104, and I was just overwhelmed by the experience and the amount of information there, that I forgot to ask a simple question...

What GE's does my World History, US His, and US Gov ap credit cover?

none.

they cover college requirements such as american history and institutions, quantitative reasoning... those sorts of things. but AP credit is not able to be used to cover GE credit. apparently it used to be, and i think at other UCs it does, but you're at UCLA so you get to take all the GEs ;)

in your case, your APs cover the american history and institutions requirement (denoted by the AH next to the AP exam name)

UCLA Undergrad Admissions: AP Credit - College of Letters and Science

ah ok, i understand now, thanks!

Are you sure? Well, it's not from an Ap but another course, but I got credit for English 10a and it looks like it's accepted for the GE's for example. Aren't there some Ap classes that satisfy GE, just the ones that replace a specific course?

if they replace a certain course that happens to be a GE, then yes.

i was just saying that the OP's AP courses didn't cover any GEs, because they specifically don't. i didn't say that none do.
