Quick question about Comforter Size

I know sheets for most dorms need to be twin XL, but what about the conforter size?

I think I've read that some people bought a full size instead of a twin because you don't use a dust ruffle, and since it's a comforter, it's not too long. What did you do?

This tip came from Bed Bath and Beyond, and I think it's brilliant. They said that the only things that need to be X-long are the fitted sheet and the mattress pad, as they have to fit around the corners. Everything else can be regular (or any other) size.

The sheets are really the only important part. I'd say buy everything else in twin size (it'll save you a little bit of money anyway). Nobody really cares that they can see your under-the-bed storage.

Agreed with srcameron. Also, if the beds at your school are anything like mine, it'll be nearly impossible to get a bedskirt on and no one cares about seeing plastic boxes under your bed.
