Quick question about Common App and gpa scale

I filled out the Common App, all I have left to do is the extra curriculars. (great...) However my school weights grades a little differently than some of the surrounding schools. We go by a 4.0 scale, but an Honors A is a 4.5 (instead of a 5.0) an Honors B a 3.5, etc. An AP A is a 5.0, AP B is a 4.0, etc. My counselor said something like 'you should put that in there' or 'is there a place to note that on the common app' or something similar. (which in all honesty she should know whats up and should know what to do but whatever)

So my question is, is there a place to put in grades weighting? I can't find one but maybe I'm just stupid?

A 4.0 scale means your unweighted GPA where an A is always a 4.0 and a B is a 3.0 even in an AP or honors class.

So then what scale does my school use? 5.0?
