Quick Question about ED

I know that the last testing date for the ACT for applying ED was today (October 25th), but are we allowed to wait until we see the score in November and then send it to Duke, or do we have to put them down as the score recipient upon testing for it to be considered?

Thanks.

I believe you must send in your score before the Nov. 1st deadline. The fact that the actual score will not come out until a few weeks after the deadline is not an issue, but the actual sending of the score matters. Essentially, you’re taking a gamble since you haven’t seen your scores yet, but that’s why college applicants are encouraged to avoid procrastinating on their standardized testing.

You don’t have a choice. If you are using ACT scores for submission, the admissions office wants the scores from ALL sittings of the ACT.
