Quick Question about Minimum Units per Quarter!

Hi guys,

Can't exactly ask the counselors right now so I'm just throwing it out here. I'm coming up on my last quarter at UCLA and I only need 10 more units. Do I still have to take the 13 units minimum per quarter to be a full-time student? Also if I don't have to, are there any consequences to being a part-time student?

Thanks!

If you receive financial aid, it may be reduced if you take less units than needed for full-time. Congrats on almost being done!

Thanks for the reply!

if you live on-campus, check to make sure this doesn’t affect your eligibility to live in UCLA housing. Another thing to look into is whether your parent’s medical insurance still covers you if you are not a full-time student (if yo are using their policy for coverage); also see how it affects your auto policy if you have one.
