Quick question about resume

When the interviewer asks me to bring a resume, does this just mean a list of my extracurriculars with a brief description of them? EC's and awards? Or an official resume of some sort? Thanks!

I would bring a resume like your brag sheet–have your ECs and awards, probably even put down a little academic info and current courses. Just make sure it fits on one page or at max two pages.

Thanks! But are you sure about the academic info? Cuz I’ve heard you shouldn’t put down SAT scores or GPA because you don’t want them focused on your numbers…Anyone have any other opinions?

I think it would be to your advantage not to put down your numbers. It can a) Make your interviewer focus on your numbers instead of you

or

b)It could potentially make you come off as arrogant if your numbers are very good.

You should make it a brag sheet of EC’s and list some of your current AP/IB Courses and other difficult (University Courses etc.) classes you have taken. If your interviewer really wants to know about your specific numbers they will probably ask you; so you really don’t lose anything by not putting down your GPA and Test Scores.

Thanks. So, should I list any awards? They aren’t major, but they’re still existent.

Also, is it absolutely essential that I put down my current AP courses? I mean, I will if it would help for some reason, but I’m only taking 2 anyway. Oh, and I’m taking a class at a CC next term, but I’m assuming that’s not worthy of being written down, right?

List everything you are proud of :)
