If you retake a subject test and get much higher, lets say 570 to 750. Colleges/Universities take the higher one right? (assuming they require you to submit all scores) and does the lower score in any way affect you or do they just disregard it and take the higher one?

If you have the option of score choice, of course, don’t send the 570 to begin with. If the school doesn’t allow score choice, assuming you have other very good scores, I doubt that the 570 would hurt you, esp. if you retook it and got a 750. In addition, I know colleges like seeing improvement.

I wouldn’t know for sure, so don’t quote me on this, but I keep reading from many users that admissions people try their best to “ignore” the bad score. Just make sure you do well on everything else. After all, it’s just one subject test out of the SAT I, other subject tests, grades, ECs, etc…

Just my thoughts. Good luck on your retake :)
