If one were to (accidentally) grid in a fraction that is "correct," but not reduced, would College Board count it as correct or incorrect? For instance, if I grid in 21/7 and the answer was 3, would it be correct (I don't know why this would ever happen, but my brain works in funny ways so yeah, hehe...just wondering)?

i remember reading in the 10 real SATs that it doesn't matter if the fraction isn't reduced

if i didnt fill in the bubbles in the grid in but i wrote the correct answer at the top will they count it as correct when they handscore it?

Thanks for the clarification, evad.

Icyfire- Sorry, but I don't think so...I've read quite a few times that the spaces at the top only exist to help you; College Board only counts what's in the bubbles.

even when they handscore?

Well, say someone doesn't know the correct answer. They did it 2 times and got 2/3 the first time and 5/8 the second. So they bubble in 2/3 and write 5/8 and then have them handscore it, how are they going to know that the person just didn't know and wanted two guesses? My bet is they still only go off the bubbles.

and besides you spend less time writing it down than circling it down.
