Quick Question: Average GPAs

On the official web site, they provide average GPAs for each campus. Are these weighted (as in, every honors point is counted) or UC (honors max at 8) GPAs?

They're UC GPAs.

The ones on the individual websites (such as for Cal and LA) are what you would call "weighted", but the ones that you'll find on the official universityofcalifornia.edu website are UC GPAs.

for admissions do they look at unweighted or weighted more? I have a UW gpa of 3.58, but 4.33 weighted

If you're talking about UC GPAs being weighted or unweighted, I think they'll look at weighted more, but bear in mind that they'll at least glance over your unweighted as well since some schools can't offer as many APs. I don't think those are UC GPA weighted tenacious, that's a huge difference o_O;;

yea I know they're not the UC gpa. Mine is UC capped 3.92

By the way I came across a recent topic regarding GPAs. If you look on page 4 and read the replies, it talks about UCs no longer doing the UC gpa, but I'm not sure on that.

Well LA and Berkeley didn't follow the UC GPA capped thing that much anyways. I don't think UCSD is going to change its point system for this, though.

they dont follow it that much??
