quick question for anyone who applied EDI

when you checked your decision on OPUS at midnight, was there any problems with the servers? what I mean is, did you have to refresh and log-in a bunch before you could finally get through and check?

I only ask because if it happened during EDI, there's the possibility that it could happen again during EDII.

people will give you responses soon, I'm sure
but based on what was posted in the forum with EDI people
found out, it didn't seem like the server had many problems

however, there were some strange happenings with scholars
i.e. emails not coming, and people who got rejected not
hearing for well over a week after accepted people found out.
shrugs

I was able to access my decision with no problems whatsoever at midnight. Didn't hear of anybody having any trouble.

well that's a relief! I've heard some pretty horrific stories from kids who applied ED to other schools and couldn't access their answer for hours! they just had to sit at their computer, constantly refreshing the screen.
glad to see Emory isn't like that!

and azn, I'm sorry to hear about your scholars wait (yeah, I've been reading that thread too :P).

Does anyone know when the EDII decisions are supposed to be available online?

February 1st.

Thanks Aznnincompoop. Do you know what time on February 1st? Do you know the day and time ED1 went online? Thanks!

EDI went out...urhh..sometime mid-December. I'm thinking the 16th? But the decisions were available online at midnight.

They usually say decisions won't be online till later, but usually they are available immediately at midnight.

Thanks again for the help, Aznnincompoop. EDI's notification date was Saturday, December 15. Were those decisions available online at midnight Friday night (Saturday morning) or at midnight Saturday night (Sunday morning)? Thanks!

midnight friday.
