quick question for bluedevile mile and bigredmed

<p>This is directed at Bluedevilmike and Bigredmed because they are the only ones I know of that are actually in med school. If anyone else knows about this topic, please respond as well.</p>

<p>I was lookin at MD/MBA programs and had a quick question. From my understanding, you get admitted into the MD program, then after 2 years you apply to the business school (from the same university as the Med school).</p>

<p>So my question is, are you restricted to applying to that school's MBA program or can you apply freely and then come back to finish off the MD program like a normal MD/MBA student?</p>

<p>Sorry if that was confusing. I researched some school's websites and couldn't find answers. If anyone knows anything, please respond!</p>

<p>Depends on your medical school, but most will grant you a deferral.</p>

<p>My understanding is that at Harvard you can gain entrance into both programs upon first application, though you can also apply in your second year</p>
