First, I'd just like to say congrats to those who were accepted! You're so lucky (and I'm so jealous haha)!

I'm applying RD, and I was just wonder how you found your decision. I was kind of stalking the forums, but I got confused because there were so many posts so I'm not sure if you received your decisions through the website, email, or snail mail. And if you received your decisions through the website or email, do you also get an official letter mailed to your house?

Deferred: It was on the online application. If you are accepted you get an official thing in the mail, if you are not then you have to request for one to be sent in the mail

At the time the decision is released, a little link pops up on the Documents Submitted page of the online application that says “Click Here for Your Admissions Decision” Click it, and you can see an electronic version of the letter.

I was deferred (I’m really happy about it actually. It’s such a confidence booster to think I’m actually a competitive applicant to schools of this caliber).

Be careful about that page when the time comes though. There’s going to be some blue writing at the top that announces the date and time decisions are going to be posted when they figure that out, and when the decisions are actually posted, the writing changes. If you keep refreshing and only glance at it though, you’re not going to notice that it changed. It should say that decisions are now available. I must have refreshed the page so many more times than was necessary before I caught the change.
