Quick Question for UC's?

Hello,

On my UC application, I mentioned that I was planning to take SAT subjects tests on the test date for JAN 25. However, I have not signed up yet and I still have a day for the wait list request. Since all UC apps are submitted and I will likely get my subject test results in february, would it be worth it to take the subject tests and send it to UC's in february? Would it look bad on my application if I do not take the subject tests? I have not yet taken any subject tests and I know it can be important especially for biology majors. I can still pay and take it, but I felt that it should be taken if it makes a difference.

So, should I take the subject tests in jan at this point? Will it affect my chances or do i not take it at all?

I do not want them to think I backed out, if it matters that much.

Thank You.

On their website, it says the deadline for submission is December. [SAT Subject Tests | UC Admissions](http://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/freshman/requirements/examination-requirement/SAT-subject-tests/index.html)

None of the UC’s require the SAT II Subject Tests for their application. Only a few recommend the tests. Since you have missed the deadline for submission, I may just send an email to the admissions office of each UC and let them know they were not taken. Since you stated that you were going to take them in January, they may your hold application for completion. I would just double check with admissions to be sure.

Yeah I agree with the post above. If they say that you can send your january scores, go ahead and take the subject test. Subject tests are not really that important for UC’s, unless you’re going for engineering, which is not your case.
