<p>Cornell=a lot of things...engineering, architecture, hospitality/hotel management, labor relations, etc.</p>

<p>Amherst College=Physics, Pyschology, Most Humanties are acclaimed (Pre-Law, Political Science, LJST, Economics) , Spanish, Sociology/Anthropology (they have many strong departments, but those are the ones I hear most acclaim for)</p>

<p>Middlebury is known for foreign languages. Boston U is known for communication/media and business. I've also heard Amherst is good for history.</p>

<p>Middlebury is known for languages, writing, environmental studies, and international studies.</p>
