I have a quick question, I just decided I will end up going to BU. However on my form I put my major down as a Bio Major with specialization in Genetics but now i’m reconsidering it and after reading about their Biomedical Engineering Program I’m really interested. Do you know if there is any way for me to transfer from CAS to to the College of Engineering? And is there any way to do this before I start classes in August/September?

give them a call. i’m not too sure about transferring to eng. i know you can do it but i dont know what it entails.

yeah it is very easy to transfer schools at BU, thats what they said when i visited

The issue might be the size of the biomed program. You need to call.

my girlfriend goes to BU and this is what she says,

“generally it is pretty difficult to transfer from CAS to ENG once you’re in CAS. but you haven’t even started school yet so what I’d recommend is to call BU now and see what you can do. a friend of mine is a physics major right now, trying to transfer into ENG. I’m pretty sure he’ll be all set by next year but he might be a little behind in ENG credits because they have to take specific classes that go toward ENG starting freshman year. so call BU and let them know now before you start registering and all that stuff.”
