Quick question regarding early action.

Hey
I was thinking about retaking the SAT again this October but I want to try early action.
Can I apply early action with my old SAT score and if not accepted, update my recent SAT score for regular decision?

Early Action Deadline for spring admission is Oct 1.
SAT is Oct 6.
Regular deadline for spring admission is Nov1.

E-mail a GS officer to confirm whether you can apply for both early action and regular action

Why you are saying Columbia’s Early Decision is 1th October because I found on their website it is 1th November.

“If Columbia is your first choice-and you are willing to make a binding commitment to attend if admitted-please do consider applying Early Decision. All application materials must be postmarked by November 1. You must have all standardized testing completed by the November test date, and you must be very certain to have your scores reported directly to Columbia by the testing agency. Please review our Required Standardized Testing section.”
