Quick question regarding length of Additional Essay(s)

<p>Ok, so on the Brown supplement it asks those interested in physical science (me) to answer a few questions, and part of the guidelines state </p>

<p>"(To be completed by applicants whose primary interest is one of the following areas of study; please check one box and address each question separately. We also suggest limiting your total response to 500 words.)" </p>

<p>And then there are 4 questions to answer.</p>

<p>So, it says to limit the total response to 500 words. Does that mean 500 words for all 4 questions combined, or 500 words for each of the 4 questions?</p>

<p>If you don’t know what “total” means, chances are you won’t get into Brown.</p>
