quick question: retake lit?

I took it last May w/o studying and got 770. This may be really anal (don't shoot!) but is it worth retaking?

I've read that the literature subject test is difficult... I might be able to do better - I didn't know there would be poetry on it.

But does anyone know - does the test tend to fluctuate? Would I be able to do better on it? Or is it likely I would do worse? Or is it even worth it?

Okay, well, thanks!

I believe the test fluctuates quite a bit. It is possible you would do better on it if you practice with harder pieces and whatnot, but it is also likely you might do worse.

I would not retake it if I were you, 770 is an excellent score, especially in Literature.

It’s possible you will do better, but not likely. Your score is already sufficient for any school.

I advise not to retake.

Great, thanks! I’ll probably spend my time doing something far, far more valuable and interesting then! lol.
