quick question: siemens

How long do you work with your mentor? Do you do it over the summer only?

come on, quick!

when i was born my father quickly thrust me into a lab at the local university with a scientist. ever since that moment i have been stealing research papers for this competition

^lol. wow. great story.

But seriously people??

I believe you are talking about the prestigious HS program called “Semens.” It is pronounced “Siemens”, though only the uneducated masses spell it that way.

^^ What the heck are you talking about…? [Siemens Foundation - Siemens Competition](<a href=“Siemens Foundation - Siemens US”>Siemens Foundation - Siemens US)

dude it doesnt matter how long as long as you finish it…
you should be doing it because you love research
not for college apps
so if ur doing it for college apps
then dont do it.

Usually one summer will suffice, if you want a project solely for Intel or Siemens. I mean you could work during school, but I imagine it would become quite difficult to work enough hours to get anything significant accomplished during school months. Like I mean if you were aiming for a publication, then you need a minimum of a full year time investment. Otherwise, one summer should be ample time to concoct a decent project for a science fair.

lol at jpl…
