Quick Question: Sleep vs. Workload?

Is it reasonable?
Can it be managed?

If I end up going to Mudd, I want to be able to work hard to receive good grades, while getting a decent amount of sleep and maintaining somewhat of a social life. Is this doable?

What about adding two- three clubs into the mix?

sleep
school
social life

pick 2.

haha, from what i’ve heard

It is possible. I’m a Junior Engineering major and I’m currently doing all three. However, I spend my weekend mornings, weekend afternoons, and entire Sundays working.

So… you’re telling me that you effectively only don’t work Saturday around noon…

:D

Hey…Saturday night off!

Sounds like me…even before college, and definitely in college. Either working or doing something at my desk as a brief interlude before going back (so the mind doesn’t get stale).

I definitely think if you’re doing demanding stuff, generally you have to pick 2 of the 3 stated (sleep, academics, and social life). I chit chat a little here and there to decompress, but tend to prioritize the former two.
