<p>Hello, about three days ago, I went online to finally enroll that I would be attending Buffalo.
(I'm in EOP so I didn't need to pay the tuition deposit)</p>
<p>But today, I just got another acceptance letter from New Paltz and I'm pretty sure I want to attend here. I'm so mad they mailed it to me so late, but I'm thinking about switching.</p>
<p>So is it possible to cancel my enrollment? Because my dad is angry now saying how I'm being really careless right now, that I should've just waited a little longer. I just didn't know I would get accepted to NP, because since I didn't hear back, I thought it was a rejection.</p>
<p>Call admissions at Buffalo & explain, it is still before the deadline and I can’t see this a being much of a problem. They accept way more students then will attend so nobody is losing out by your quick change of mind.</p>
<p>Are you an EOP admit at NP as well? I think you can send an email to UB informing them that you have received a late decision from another SUNY and are withdrawing your acceptance. If you have any doubts on how to do this, call the EOP or admissions office.</p>
<p>I think your dad is being a bit harsh…it is very late for decisions to arrive and you simply made the best choice with the information you had at the time! Don’t sweat it, just choose the school that you feel is right for you!</p>
<p>Yes EOP for NP as well. And better for me, New Paltz doesn’t have a summer program that I have to attend, so now my summer plans cleared up. So I’m going to call them tomorrow as soon as I get home from school. </p>
