Quick question when calclulationg UC GPA

I know it’s assigned a 4 for an A and a 3 for a B, regardless of - or +, but say for an A-G class you have a B one semester and a A the other semester, would you just give yourself a 3.5?
(put that average in with the rest of your calculations)

Also, what if you do not have an elective during your sophomore/ junior year? I’m taking a second ap science as an elective senior year along with ap statistics…

I do not understand your problem. Just assign a number value (A=4, B=3, etc) to every grade that counts towards your UC GPA for 10/11th grade, then divide by the number of classes.
