Quick question! Would be really helpful if answered! :)

Is there a site that shows applicants GRE/GPA and whether the applicant got accepted/rejected from the department they applied to?

I know that gradschoolcafe has something like this, but they don't display GPA or GRE.

Thanks

Hmm I haven’t heard anything like that.

GPA isn’t as important as undergrad research + prof recs (for sciences) and GREs don’t really figure in the equation (maybe just for tiebreaker)

A couple of schools post statistics. I know Duke is one of them.

^
In my field, GRE + GPA is often used as the first screening tool, followed by clinical experience, research, research match, SOP, and LORs, and then interview.

As for the OP, see if programs in your field post mean GREs and GPAs of acceptees.

GPA is very important for many programs. GREs are less so – they are used mostly as qualifiers.

But Fiona is right that grad programs are less stats-oriented than one would think. A great GPA combined with excellent LORs and scholarship will get serious consideration at top programs.

[Grad School Admissions Results, Discussions, Tips, Forums, Help • thegradcafe.com](http://www.thegradcafe.com) has that stuff for some departments. I know that for mechanical engineering they have a section where people list all their stats, and all the schools they applied to and outcomes. It is a good resource for any graduate school advice that you can’t find here. I frequent both.

I would think it’s the other way around as schools’ grading scale/inflation isn’t standardized across campuses, whereas GRE scores can be compared across students.

I think you mean [WhoGotIn network: admission, rejection, interview, notifications for graduate school application](http://graduateschool.whogotin.info/)
