Yes, I attend a private school that doesn’t really have a registrar. In my school, we all depend on the counselor for secondary school reports and transcripts. If transcripts can be sent electronically, why can’t we fax a signed transcript?

mikynhoj, your only option is mail–no electronic, no fax. http://bealonghorn.utexas.edu/freshmen/admission/transcripts There are more details about what is required from international applicants here: http://bealonghorn.utexas.edu/international/first-time/transcripts .

Because Dec. 1 is almost here, there is quite a crush of last-minute filings and communications with UT admissions. Hopefully, your transcript is there but they simply haven’t had time to process it. It is good you already emailed your UT admissions counselor. Be sure your email confirmed exactly when and how your transcript was mailed so they can see you timely requested it from your school and your school timely mailed it. It would be ideal if your school counselor or other person with knowledge of the mailing could also send a brief email tomorrow (Nov. 30) confirming date mailed and method (regular mail, FedEx or DHL, etc.). I suggest you furnish your UT EID to the emailer so that message is matched to your file.

The deadlines aren’t set up to be unfair traps as to those pieces over which you have no control. You should be fine as long as you timely requested your school provide the transcript and continue to follow-up on delivery status until UT confirms receipt.
